Alright fellows, it's been a while but things have been happening! The casting resin arrived today (finally!) and thus I immediately started casting the Pachyrhinosaurus 'Jefferson'. Sadly, in both casts, there have been bubbles trapped within the resin, so now I have to try and fix that with epoxy-putty (the first cast has a big chunk of its tail missing and the second one needs a new lower jaw... but it definitely could be worse for a first try!). Until then, enjoy some pictures!
If you are interested in purchasing such a fellow (blank or with custom paintjob), they are 1:20 scale and measure about 30cm from snout to tail. Please send me a note and where you are from, I will reply as soon as possible with shipping information etc.

Current project~ [ sneak-peak ]

Alright folks, I'm done. The silicone mold halves are separated (which worked astonishingly well), the original did not really survive the attempt to get it out of the mold, though. Partly a shame, partly expected (due to the small details and legs). I saved his head, put his horns back onto it and might think of some second use for him, so he does not get forgotten. (I actually had tears in my eyes when I took a closer look at the broken body... very emotional these days)
